Hi Ladies,

Philippians 4: 6,7 – “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Genesis 8:22 – “While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”

Seedtime and harvest” is the standard translation of this verse, but an equally accurate interpretation is “seed, time, and harvest.” There is a time to plant, and a time of allowing that seed to take root and develop, followed by a time to harvest and reap the rewards. This is the ultimate process for awaiting the results of warfare prayers, and the arrival of your destined mate.

Try hard not to become anxious or overeager for immediate answers after you’ve commenced Binding, Loosing, and Intercession for your future spouse. Everything in our lives follows our Father’s timetable, and you must expect a period of waiting. The following God-ordained attitudes will assist the process:

Gratefulness. No matter what’s going on in your life, gratitude will bring far more joy than sulking or complaining ever will. Being grateful for what you have, instead of focusing on what you haven’t yet received, keeps your thoughts directed on the Lord. Rather than concentrating on perceived problems, by striving to appreciate everything that God has already done, your grateful heart allows you to hear His voice much more clearly.

Right Focus. Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior is our right focus. Ephesians 6:7 advises that Believers “with goodwill render service, as to the Lord, and not to men.” which means that everything we do should be for His glory. But although you may truly believe that God “causes all things to work together for good…” (Romans 8:28), in distressing situations, like awaiting the results of warfare prayer, we can sometimes forget this. Like the Israelites in the wilderness, we cry out in dismay without recalling that our challenges are not challenging to the Lord, and that He has come to our aid many times before. He hasn’t changed, and He can still handle every concern that arises.   When you keep your focus on our Father and not on circumstances, you’ll be able to detect the attacks of discouragement, anxiety or doubt.

Goals. The Vision God has given you for your future, the path that you’ve been ordained to walk, must be your primary pursuit. Have you determined what yours is yet? Are you growing in Spirit, Soul and Body, developing in your chosen vocation, or serving the Body of Christ? When you’re mindful of your ultimate direction, you will be better able to evaluate the questionable choices and possible derailments that the enemy will place on your pathway.

Divine Destiny. Your divine destiny manifests every day if you’re willing to let it, and it doesn’t necessarily come wrapped in halo glow, or with angels singing in the background. Each decision you make, and seemingly ordinary daily affairs are  important both to you and to the Lord, activities such as fulfilling your exercise commitment, excelling at work, or utilizing your God-given talents. Your efforts to grow will bring personal fulfillment, improve your mental and emotional outlook, and keep you from becoming solely preoccupied with marriage. As a single, the freedom of choice you have is an invaluable gift from the Lord, and this time should not be wasted.

God’s Blessings. Every circumstance you encounter, when viewed through the eyes of the Creator, is designed ultimately to bless you. By keeping this in mind, and exhibiting your positive, Christ-centered belief system, you’ll automatically radiate the smiling joy that will encourage the right guy that you’re the right lady for his life.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue”–Proverbs 18:21. Don’t listen to the enemy’s negative report. Instead, claim God’s promises, understand His blessings, and make the most of your gifts. When you follow Holy Spirit on your own unique journey, continually speaking in faith, your days will always be filled with possibilities. And the promise for your success and for answered prayers is already there.

Until next Wednesday…Joy and Shalom!
